Heliogàbal Cultural Association was founded in 1995 with the aim of serving as a platform for the development and promotion of artistic and cultural activities in the Gracia district of Barcelona. Since 2001, with a renewed management team, the Association focuses its activities on display and promotion of poetry and music projects, as well as other forms of artistic expression: painting exhibitions and photography, presentations of books, magazines and fanzines, audiovisual projections, etc..

As a space of dissemination, Heliogàbal encourages the encounter between the public, residents, artists, groups and associations and collaborates with other platforms tissue culture and art in Barcelona, as record companies and independent publishers. In almost fifteen years of activity, the headquarters of the Association Heliogàbal has become a landmark for the promotion of the artistic life of Grace, both for residents and for the artists taking part in activities carried out.
