A welcoming apartment located in the quarter of Gracia, warm and sunny. The apartment has a large living-room, spacious and comfortable. This room is also a lay-out from which there is access to the two double-rooms and to a fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms have a double bed and include a balcony that faces Rabassa street, a very quiet street typical of Gracia, next to Plaza de Rovira, a square with terraces very pleasant due to its peace and quiet. It is a very practical apartment, ideal for a family or two couples.

Surroundings
Gracia is a quarter that was attached to Barcelona in the nineteenth century. Its urban framework keeps its narrow streets and its two-storey houses still have the atmosphere of the village it once was. Nowadays it is one of the most dynamic quarters, for its tradition in connecting people and its diversity, very loyal to its character.

What points out the most is the atmosphere of cohabitation, that can be felt in the streets and squares. There is a blend of young and old people, artists, foreigners, all of which make it very cosy and warm. Perhaps the most charming places of Gracia are its squares: the best known are the Plaza del Sol and the Plaza de Rius i Taulet, nonetheless the ones of Raspall, Virreina and Nord are also very attractive. The squares of Gracia are meeting points with their terraces and coffee shops, where people coexist and where you will find a lively yet quiet environment.

In mid August the quarter of Gracia celebrates its Festa Major, a very well known local fiesta. All streets are decorated and for a week many popular festivities are carried out, with music, performances, and meals in several streets of the neighbourhood. During the Festa Major all the people from Barcelona invade the streets; if your stay coincides with these days you can enjoy the party.

Gracia is as well a quarter with a fine cultural offer, besides its galleries, bookshops, and avant-garde theatres; it also has the Verdi Cinema, one of the most popular cinema theatres of the city. Its film planning has made Verdi Cinema a classic, with films in the original version where film buffs can enjoy the best films of the moment.

Gracia is a fantastic place to lodge, since it matches its peace and quiet with its dynamism. Its alleys and trend of all kind make it a very special place and highly recommendable.
